  1. […] 2013 Song of the Year Nominee Hussle Crowe is no pretender and has demonstrated his musical prowess was no fluke. ‘No U Lying’ new music featuring LiveSosa, throws down the gauntlet. The lyrics, the hook, the effects and its producer, offer a pitch-perfect lesson in how to get it done. Disappearing from the indie scene, becoming a Facebook posting comedian, thepublicblogger was fooled into thinking this musical maestro had called it quits. Instead, he flips the script and comes back with his best tune since ‘All Over Again’, which was one of the best of 2013. […]

  2. I find it crazy that the Song of the Year seems to be limited to pop music of various kinds. That’s cruel, because the first great American art form in music is jazz, and the second is blues — wihtout which pop music would be sadly impoverished. And yet niether jazz nor blues are considered for this award. Do they get their own song of the year award, or are they just swept under the rug?? For SHAME, Grammys!!! Wise up, already.
